Where to start with website SEO and speed checks

One score cannot describe an entire website. Check crawl access, helpful content and actual usability together.

Check discovery first

Important pages need working links. Incorrect robots rules or noindex tags can affect search access. Pages should identify their canonical URL, and missing pages should return a real 404 response. A sitemap communicates important URLs but does not guarantee indexing.

Match titles and content to intent

Titles should clearly describe the service or subject. Descriptions should summarise information actually present on the page. Answer visitor questions instead of repeating keywords. Connect useful articles to relevant services with natural internal links.

Look beyond a speed score

Core Web Vitals covers loading, interaction responsiveness and visual stability through LCP, INP and CLS. Lab testing diagnoses issues under controlled conditions; field data reflects real visits. New or low-traffic sites may lack field data. Appropriately sized images, deferred offscreen media and less unnecessary JavaScript are useful starting points.

Prioritise after measuring

Fix access failures, contact-flow issues and significant performance problems first. Retest on mobile after changes. Use our SEO and speed tool for an initial check and discuss a fuller review with Laccot Medya. A technical score is not a ranking or sales guarantee.

Before you start

  • Check crawl access and HTTP responses.
  • Write page-specific titles.
  • Serve appropriately sized images.
  • Distinguish lab and field data.
